Our Story
From one laptop to $500 million recovered.
George Kaiteris didn't start The Receivables Agency with a business plan. He started it with a problem he witnessed firsthand — businesses doing great work, delivering real value, and still waiting months to get paid while their cash flow quietly deteriorated.
After being let go from his job, George took his first unemployment check, purchased a basic laptop, and began reaching out to market research companies in the Los Angeles area that were struggling with aged invoices and unresponsive clients.
Within two months, he had secured enough clients to establish what would become one of California's most trusted receivables management firms. What set him apart wasn't just results — it was how he got them. Professional, respectful, relationship-first communication that didn't just recover payments; it preserved the partnerships clients had spent years building.
In 2025, GK Portfolio Solutions rebranded as The Receivables Agency — a name that more clearly reflects what the company actually does and the clients it serves.
